Contact: [email protected]Florence Brockwell, known online as Leanmeangenie, is a UK-based digital artist who draws inspiration from a combination of fantasy, history, and pop culture.Growing up, Florence fell in love with video games and the art that went into creating them. Now, as an adult with the means to indulge her interests, she avidly collects concept art books, much like a dragon hoarding gold, using them as a font of inspiration for her work.Finding a fascination in the cultures and aesthetics of bygone eras, from the retro-futuristic allure of mid-century art and design to the haunting beauty of Gothic armour sets, Florence infuses historical references into her work for a sense of realism with an otherworldly twist.Florence is a recent graduate from the University for the Creative Arts with a first class Bachelor of Arts degree in Illustration and Animation.
